About the Position:

Are you seeking an opportunity to join a highly skilled critical care team that strives to provide the best care for the community it serves? Then the Critical Care Paramedic position at IUH LifeLine is the one for you! The LifeLine team has been servicing the Indiana communities since 1979. Making it one of the most comprehensive and largest hospital-based programs in the nation.

Our Critical Care Transport (CCT) teams provide the highest quality of advanced transport medicine while delivering safe and expeditious ICU level care. These crew members provide this via our Mobile Intensive Care Units (MICUs) and industry-leading AirbusEC145s helicopter. We currently provide support to facilities and accident scenes in Indiana, Eastern Illinois, and Western Ohio.

Outside of industry-leading equipment, these crews are staffed with diverse backgrounds including Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, EMTs, and more. This is how our teams are able to safely coordinate and manage a range of emergency calls. These can range from adults to children and even infants. We work closely with Riley Hospital to ensure we have the team members available to coordinate any and all pediatric or neonatal calls.

Outside of working with state of the art technology and equipment, IU Health provides several options when it comes to planning for the future. The IUH organization offers several different incentives for every member of staff. From opportunities to stay healthy and volunteer in the communities. Employees of IU also continue their education with certifications and licensure courses. Our benefited employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement if they wanted to go back to school!

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity and inclusion at IU Health. IU Health does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, national origin, gender identity and/or expression, marital status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
