This is an as needed position so no guarantee of hours.  Need to be willing to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.  Responds to patient inquiries via telephone and email. Determines the best method for problem resolution meeting patient need and organizational guidelines. Coordinates issue resolutions with other departments as necessary. Qualifications for the Switchboard Operator Role

  • High School Diploma/GED. No experience required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding preferred.
  • Ability to type 30+ words per minute.
  • Requires working knowledge of computers.
