IU Health Home Care provides patients comprehensive care delivered by a highly trained interdisciplinary team.The IU Health Muncie Home Care RN will provide care in the patient's home in Muncie and surrounding counties. Offering traditional, complementary and alternative services, IU Health Home Care professionals help patients carry out the activities and make the personal choices that add quality to life.

This position provides a great deal of autonomy, flexibility and holistic care.  The RN in this role will perform duties such as wound care management, infusions,  disease management and patient education.

The RN in this position will work 12 hours shifts on Saturday, Sunday and one day during the week. Special weekend pay is offered.

Qualifications for the Muncie Home Care Clinical Nurse Role

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
