The incumbent provides direction and leadership to assigned staff and ensures that all appropriate staff job functions are performed accurately and efficiently. The position is responsible for delivering outstanding service to all customers. This position coordinates scheduling, and monitors and ensures completion of normal work tasks for employees across a 24/7 staffing model. This position is responsible for rewarding and recognizing staff. This position will propose corrective action for performance issues to the manager and will issue corrective action and attendance warnings when necessary. We are looking for someone who can work multiple shifts, flexible on hours, but will work routine hours of 0800-1700 when not working odd shifts to support teams on weekends, 2 nd shifts and 3 rd shifts, Must be open to working in all markets (Bloomington, Indianapolis, Muncie, and Lafayette), Excellent communication skills, internally and external customer facing, Positive approach toward work and interpersonal interaction, under all circumstances, Ability to organize and manage multiple projects at the same time. Well versed in Excel and software utilized to report Dashboard performance. Able to generate clear and visual reports that tell us what we are doing right and where we need to focus operational resources. Management support for regional Team Leads/Staff Front Line leadership to assigned region AP approval for regional supplies, maintenance, etc. Regional approval for overtime Regional Service Recovery internal & external Reporting/Dashboard for assigned Regions Regional Resource Planning Preventative Maintenance ARI usage to monitor progress Improvement Initiatives Strategic and tactical planning Training progress monitoring Recruiting Disciplinary action for subordinates Performance Management for subordinates Invoice approvals/submission Competency development Sales involvement Account maintenance Time Keeping Dashboard Rounding Ordering in Lawson Performance Management for Staff (20-30) Sterilization/Mail/Pharmacy Staff Communication Sessions bi-weekly PolicyStat Administration Apply teamwork. Qualifications for the Transportation Supervisor Role

  • Associates, Bachelors and/or number of years experience preferred.
  • Requires the ability to speak, read, write and understand the English language. Prefers experience working in Transportation Services.
  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Requires the ability to fill in for positions that fall under the area of responsibility.
