The Director – System Healthcare Technology Management will be responsible for the system Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) program, including clinical engineering, mobile medical equipment cleaning and distribution, and medical equipment planning and utilization. This leader will coordinate and lead all HTM activities within IU Health, including the direct management of the relationship with the external HTM partner. They will collaborate with the vendor and regional operational leadership to ensure achievement of key performance indicators that are consistent with IU Health system priorities.

Qualifications for the System Healthcare Technology Management Director Role

  • Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical Engineering or other technical field required or equivalent years of experience.
  • CBET and/or A+ certifications preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience is required.
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years servicing a broad representation of clinical and patient care equipment in a hospital environment.
  • Experience in supervision of on-site hospital technicians is preferred.
  • Leadership experience in a matrix organization and complex work environment is required.
