We are looking for a Speech Pathologist to join our team at Riley Hospital!

Experience with cleft palate/craniofacial-related speech disorders preferred. This is an outpatient Speech-language pathologist position. Approximately 40-50% of job will involve the evaluation and treatment of children with cleft palate/craniofacial-related speech disorders, including participation in the Cleft Palate/Craniofacial Team. Performs speech pathology services including diagnostic evaluations to determine level of impairment. After administering the appropriate tests and measures, a treatment plan is designed for improved communication and swallowing.

Qualifications for the Speech Pathologist Role

  • Requires graduation from an accredited academic program in speech pathology.
  • Requires a certificate of clinical competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility for this certificate.
  • Requires current license in the State of Indiana within 12 months.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

  • This is a full time, days position. Hours worked will be between Monday-Friday.
