The Underpayments Team is looking for a Senior Analyst! This team is of a diverse, fun loving cohesive group of members whose role is to supervise RCS billed accounts, both facility and physician, for accurate payment by various payers according to the negotiated reimbursement terms and the stated reimbursement policies of those payers. 

The Senior Analyst role requires the ability to work within strict timelines with a large number of accounts and efficiently connect with internal partners, as well as externally with payers, in order to resolve payment disparities. The incumbent will need to understand, or have the desire to learn, complex reimbursement methodologies and policies. It is imperative that he or she has the motivation to set and achieve personal goals that supports the overall team goals, with the main goal in supporting the financial strength of IU Health.

Qualifications for the Senior Analyst Revenue Cycle Services Role

  • At least one year of experience in hospital or physician billing strongly preferred.
  • Requires working knowledge of payer billing requirements and regulations.
  • Requires a high level of interpersonal, problem solving, and analytic skills.
  • Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives
