Being an IU Health nurse means building a professional nursing career designed by you, with competitive benefits, a culture that embraces your outstanding strengths, and supports your personal and professional goals. If you are seeking an organization where you can engage professionally, develop clinical expertise, foster learning, cultivate new relationships, and fuel your spirit of inquiry, join us!

The Senate Street Surgery Center is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center located downtown on the Methodist Hospital campus. A variety of specialty services are provided: General Surgery, Gynecology, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Pain Management, Plastics, Podiatry, and Urology. The surgery center has eight fully equipped, technologically sophisticated operating rooms. The staff prides themselves on working as a close knit team and helping patients to get back to their personal and physical well-being.

We are looking for a candidate who wishes to be a part of a high functioning team and exhibits strong initiative, compassion, high integrity, and strong teamwork. Our hours of operations are from 6 am to 6:30 pm. We are closed on weekends and holidays. We do require staff to sign-up for late stay shifts to finish up procedures that may have extended past normal business hours. Often this occurs during our "busy season" (which are the later months in the year). This responsibility is minimal.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity and inclusion at IU Health. IU Health does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, national origin, gender identity and/or expression, marital status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law. We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.
