This position is responsible for data collection and analyzation of block utilization, leadership and strategic planning to support environmental services and scheduling for the perioperative department at Riley Hospital for Children. Accordingly, the incumbent will have the ability to conduct planning and effectively determine resource utilization.

Qualifications for the Perioperative Operations Manager Role

  • Requires bachelor's degree in Nursing, and or Business.
  • Requires 5-7 years relevant experience.
  • Requires extensive knowledge in data collection and interpretation.
  • Requires extensive experience in Excel.
  • Requires extensive knowledge in healthcare operations.
  • Requires knowledge of state and national regulatory agency guidelines relative to Perioperative Services.
  • Requires process transformation and lean experience.
  • Requires the ability to plan and manage resources.
  • Requires the ability to communicate sensitive issues with all levels of employee/management.
  • Requires strong customer service skills.
  • Requires the ability to promote teamwork and builds effective relationships.
  • Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
  • Requires a high level of interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.
