The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Riley Children’s Health is a 12-bed unit located within The Heart Center on the 3 rd floor of the Simon Family Tower. We care for all post-operative cardiac surgical patients as well as critically ill children with complex cardiac disease needing medical ICU management. Our patient population consists of a wide range of ages including newborns up to adults. Our nursing staff develops and maintains an extensive clinical skillset and cares for patients requiring advanced respiratory support, continuous dialysis, continuous inotropic medications, heart transplantation, and mechanical cardiac assist devices such as ECMO and VAD.
Seeking RNs with atleast 1-2 years of RN experience. ICU RN experience strongly preferred. Will obtain PALS certification during initial employment period.
