Collaborates with leadership, regional affiliates, and support systems to ensure the highest quality outcomes and provides strategic direction to improve safety, education, efficiency, equity, and healthcare delivery! Represents quality and safety to AHC Board members, national, and local communities and chairs Riley Quality and Safety oversight committees. Partners with the Chief Medical Officer to promote academic work of faculty and team members to improve care. Provides oversight and coordination of the infection prevention and nursing excellence programs. Leads the execution of nursing development, education, Magnet, and Riley's clinical governance structure. Partners with Human Resources to develop and evaluate nursing professional development standards and proficiencies. Advances organizational and individual expertise to promote Riley Children's Health as a national leader in academic and national publishing's! Leads reporting clinical practice variation, regulatory risk, and maintain state board of health, and joint commission regulatory compliance for Riley. Reports to Chief Nursing Officer.

Qualifications for the Ped & Mat Qual & Safety ACNO Role

  • Requires Masters degree in Nursing or other healthcare field.
  • DNP or PhD preferred.
  • 7-10 years progressive leadership experience in clinical and administrative positions.
  • Requires demonstrated analytical and financial/budgetary experience.
  • Current state of Indiana nursing licensure.
  • Experience with nursing regulatory compliance, and national Magnet recognition program standards preferred.
