Experienced OR Nurses...Are you seeking variety and flexibility in your work?  We are currently seeking RNs with at least two years of OR experience to join our Resource Center team! The Resource Center provides the opportunity to gain experience working in the OR at both Riley and University Hospitals in Indianapolis as well as in the Ambulatory Surgical Center setting.

Ideally seeking OR Nurses who have experience in a variety of surgical specialties. The incumbent would be expected to circulate, as a generalist, in all surgical environments at these facilities. The position will be (4) 10hr shifts (7a-5:30p) with no call and no weekend commitment.

Qualifications for the OR Resource Center Registered Nurse Role

  • Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. New ASN RNs hired after January 1, 2013, will be required to complete their BSN within 5 years from date of hire into this job.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
