We are looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team! This is a small and supportive team of OT's and COTA's. This team travels to accommodate the needs of the patients.

This COTA will assist with helping to improve the quality of live, provide rehabilitative services to the mental, physical, or developmental impairments. Performs direct patient care occupational therapy services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist. May assist with the training of field work and practicum students as well as provide guidance and supervision of support personnel. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations. This individual will need to learn and operate an EMR system. Any special skills with lymph and vision expertise is helpful.

Qualifications for the Occupational Therapy Assistant Role

  • Requires graduation from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
  • Current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred.
  • Requires certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Indiana.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.

Additional Information about this Role

  • This is a full time, Monday-Friday, day shift position.
  • At least 1 year of COTA experience preferred.
