Under the supervision of the Manager of On-Site Services performs duties associated with principles of assisting workers in achieving and maintaining the highest level of health. Assures completeness of ordered procedures and treatments, instructs patients concerning procedures, treatments and needs and ensures medically approved Nursing Protocols are carried out accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications for the Business Solutions RN Role

  • REQUIRED TRAINING:HR New Employee Orientation , MINIMUM SECURITY LEVEL:Network Access; Lawson Employee Only Access; Outlook; Kronos
  • Requires Registered Nurse License.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • Requires Associate of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor's of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires that RN has graduated from a nursing program accredited through the ACEN or CCNE.
  • Two years experience as an RN preferred.
  • Require knowledge of procedures for performing the special functions and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary in order to carry out duties in a professional manner; as well as the ability to work well under stress.
  • Requires a good basic understanding of the concepts of good personal hygiene; aseptic and sterile techniques to prevent the spread of infection to patients; self and others.
  • Ability to periodically lift/carry object weighing up to 25 pounds to; among other things; assist and position immobile patients.
  • CONTACTS:Internal:Daily contact with all levels of employees in companies. External: Daily contact with insurance carriers and referral specialists , WORKING CONDITIONS: 1. Normal clinical environment with little exposure to excessive dust; noise and temperature extremes and regular exposure to disease and disease process. 2.Category I under the Universal Precautions standards (tasks involving anticipated contact with blood; body fluids; or tissues) basically due to various preparatory procedures and requires practice of and regular adherence to published health and safety policy and procedures.
