We are looking for an Art Therapist to join our CompleteLife Department! This team is comprised of Art Therapists and Integrative Therapists providing services to hospitalized adult patients at IU Health Simon Cancer Center and University Hospital.

Provides art therapy for patients through the process of self-expression and art marking. Works with patients to determine goals. Develops appropriate art therapy interventions and monitors and tracks progress in medical chart. Uses the art therapy creative process to improve and enhance patients’ physical, mental and emotional well-being. Assists with programmatic development and collaborative projects as needed. It is important for this individual to have independent judgment, relationship building, and communication skills.

Qualifications for the Art GF Therapist Role

  • Requires a Master's Degree in Art Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Certification in Arts Therapy or related social science (AATA or ATCB) field is preferred. Must be eligible for certification.
  • Requires 1-3 years of experience in art therapy.

Additional Information about this Role

  • This position will work 4 days per week. This is a weekday position, hours worked are 9am-5pm.
  • This position is eligible for benefits.
