People who aspire to excellence every day. Job Details The Ambulatory Nurse Clinician will identify pancreatic cyst patients via discipline schedules and via inpatient information services. This person will be heavily involved with new and returning patients in a clinic setting and will coordinate follow up including, diagnostic imaging studies, labs and return clinic visits. Responsible for program coordination with Genetics, GI, MDC, and Pancreatitis Management and be responsible for IU Health Pancreatic Cyst Clinic site development. Indiana University Medical Center is a regional and national referral center for patients with pancreatic cysts. IU Health is recognized by The Pancreatic Cyst & Cancer Early Detection Center ( www.pancyst.org ) as being in the top 2 centers in the world for this disease process, super exceeding Harvard's program volume! This centers vision is to promote early detection and prevent pancreatic cancer through rigorous identification of patients with pancreatic cysts or hereditary pancreatic cancer, tracking, and treatment of patients "at risk" for pancreatic cancer through a multidisciplinary screening clinic, registry, community outreach, education and research. #LI- ML1
