This position is responsible for providing supervision of the personnel and clinical processes of sleep diagnostics. The Supervisor will be responsible for program advancement, quality assessment, operational, and financial direction of pulmonary diagnostic services.  

This position is for the Riley Specialists, Meridian Crossing Sleep Lab Location.

This position is responsible for providing supervision of the personnel and clinical processes within the Pediatric Sleep Lab at Meridian Crossing.  This 8-bed sleep lab is open nightly, Monday – Friday.  This Supervisor will work collaboratively with the Sleep Lab Manager and Medical Director for program advancement, quality assessment, operational, and financial direction of pulmonary diagnostic services.   

Work Hours for this position is Monday – Friday, 3:00 – 11:30pm.

Qualifications for the Sleep Medicine Supervisor Role

  • Requires Registered Polysomnographic Technologist by the Board of Registered Polysomnography Technologists or certified by ABSM as a Registered Sleep Technologist .
  • Requires Certification in Basic Life Support.
  • Requires current certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of Indiana.
  • Prefers Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires extensive experience in sleep disorder medicine.
  • Requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Requires critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Requires leadership abilities necessary to facilitate small work groups.
  • Requires ability to work independently and in groups.
  • Requires knowledge of software applications.
