We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about challenging and significant work for the good of every patient! It is important for this Occupational Therapist to have adult outpatient experience in a fast paced environment, as well as, have the ability to be flexible and adaptable. Team work is a large part of this role; this individual will work in a collaborative interdisciplinary setting. Our team is looking for someone who is ready to be in a continuous state of learning and developing clinically.

This individual should be able to fabricate static and dynamic splints. Provides occupational therapy services for the treatment of physical and psychological dysfunctions. Provides direct patient care using a variety of sensorimotor, functional, educational, recreational, and social activities designed to help patients regain physical or mental functioning. Appropriately supervises occupational therapy assistants, support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.

The hours for this position are negotiable. Clinic hours are 7:30am-6:00pm Monday-Friday. Primary location is Hazel Dell, but may be asked to cover multiple adult OP locations.

Qualifications for the Occupational Therapist Role

  • Requires graduation from an accredited academic program in occupational therapy.
  • Current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred.
  • Requires current license in the State of Indiana.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
