We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team! This PRN therapist will work at our Bloomington, IN Orthopedics and Sports Medicine East Creeks Edge, and will possibility cover NW YMCA.

It is important in this role to have a strong orthopedic background, preferably with post-operative care. This individual provides physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability following disease or injury, and assists patients to reach maximum performance levels. Provides all components of direct patient care including supervision of physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.

This is a supplemental (PRN) position. Working hours are during day shift, between 7:00a-6:00p. This individual will be used to cover PTO, FMLA, illness, and/or increase in census. We are looking for someone who has flexibility with hours with the possibility to be called within 24 hour notice.

Qualifications for the Physical Therapist Role

  • Requires graduation from an accredited academic program in physical therapy.
  • Requires current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
