Position Summary

Oversee the business and clinical operation of the medical practice. Supervise the work of the clerical staff and clinical staff as needed or staffing operations requires.

Participates in clinical/office/departmental process improvement and the implementation of activities that improve or maintain quality of care while reducing cost or increasing revenue. 

Hire and train all office staff. 

Conduct performance evaluations for staff members. 

Ensure adherence to all laws and regulations regarding employment, affirmative action, safety, drugs, and medical waste disposal. 

Ensure that patient records are accurate and complete, and that patient confidentiality is strictly maintained. 

Direct and oversee all office operations. 

Ensure effective patient flow. 

Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the facility 

Good understanding of computer, data processing and EMR. 

Supervise the selection and ordering of supplies. 

Oversee the financial aspects of the business (banking, billing and accounting)

Qualifications for the Office Manager Role

  • High School graduate required, Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience preferred, One-two year's management experience preferred
