Receives and communicates requests (dispatching) and establishes priorities in order to dispatch internal and external personnel to specific destinations in an organized and timely fashion. Answers telephone calls and service requests, takes accurate messages and transfers calls to appropriate individuals with a friendly voice and a sense of urgency. Enters data into dispatch program and troubleshoots repeated calls with team. Utilizes computer system to coordinate work requests. Performs other data entry tasks as necessary. Communicates pending workload, staffing concerns, change and status with other dispatchers and other pertinent information to subsequent shift personnel. Customer requests are perceived as opportunities to help and requests are either handled or solutions are suggested.
